Updated: Oct 3, 2019

If you want to defy your age, you need to discover how incredible herbs, veggies and fruits truly are to boost your overall health and fight ageing. One such herbal spice is a tuberous root called turmeric.

You might know this spice from traditional curry dishes, but its uses stretch well beyond the kitchen and into many Nathropath, Ayurvedic and Health Coach's practices. I use it religiously in my diet to prevent cancer re-occurrence, and highly recommend client's explore its other healing properties, especially as an anti-ageing tonic.

Mango Turmeric Smoothie

The reason turmeric is so highly praised, is for its chemical compounds known as curcuminoids. The health benefits of these powerful compounds include anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that have proven effective in treating many skin conditions.

Turmeric boosts the natural illuminous glow of your skin, speeds up the healing of wounds, decreases acne and acne scarring, and helps to control psoriasis outbreaks. If you want glowing, gorgeous skin, this is definitely one medicinal herbal root you want to add to your smoothies.
